RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance operations. You will drive safety, asset performance and continuous improvement across buildings, grounds and plant, reporting to the Resort Operations Manager.

You will manage budgets, capital works and compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences and sustainable initiatives as the resort undertakes development projects ahead of major events.

Formación

• Relevant trade qualification and current Queensland trade licence.
• Minimum 5 years’ senior engineering or maintenance leadership experience, ideally within hotels, resorts or large commercial properties.
• Experience with asset lifecycle, capital works, budgets and WHS compliance.
• Knowledge of building regulations, contractor management and energy sustainability initiatives.
• Experience with building and maintenance management systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Engineering & Maintenance team with safety and service excellence.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifts and life safety systems across the resort.
• Manage planned, preventive and predictive maintenance to maximise asset life.
• Deliver capital works projects from concept to installation and commissioning.
• Administer operating and capital budgets and pursue cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure contractor management, WHS compliance and emergency response readiness.
• Champion energy and sustainability initiatives and optimise resource use.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and deliver guest experiences.
