Job summary

Beech Mountain Resort in Beech Mountain, NC is seeking a friendly Cashier for our ticket booth. You will handle cash and card transactions, provide guests with tickets and information, and be the first point of contact for guests in our winter activities.

Full and part-time seasonal positions are available. You should be reliable, capable of working weekends and peak periods, and comfortable navigating winter conditions.

Qualifications

Our Ski Resort Cashiers work in the ticket booth and provide guests with the tickets and information they need to enjoy our winter activities. Cashiers are responsible, personable, and the initial point of contact for our guests. Full and part-time seasonal positions are available.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the cash register and handle cash/credit transactions with customers
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience at the resort
• Resolve customer complaints, guide guests, and provide relevant information
• Turn in all cash, credit reports, and receipts to Cash Control
• Keep the check out area clean and organized
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort products and services

Requirements or Qualifications:

• Proficiency with computers and ability to operate a cash register
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Must maintain a neat and orderly appearance
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact courteously with guests and employees
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
• Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
