Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, Arizona, is seeking an experienced bartender to join our resort dining team. The role involves preparing and serving beverages and food at the bar, restaurant, or patio, while delivering friendly, high-quality hospitality to guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; must be able to calculate discounts and percentages.
• Ability to contribute to a productive and friendly work environment by maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort facilities and dining areas.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service meeting guest expectations.
• Greet and serve guests, take beverage orders, and make recommendations.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and balance the cash register.
• Take inventory and order liquors and supplies while staying within budget.
• Oversee and assist in all Food & Beverage functions, including banquets and events.
