Job summary

El Capitan Canyon is seeking a Resort Ambassador to join our guest services team in a beautiful outdoor setting near Santa Barbara, CA. You will greet visitors, assist guests, handle packages, answer calls, and help with security and operations to ensure a world-class guest experience.

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, you will monitor for maintenance issues, escort guests around the canyon, and perform other duties as assigned in a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Education
• Ability to read maps
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors directing them to their destinations.
• Obtain names and information from our guests entering the resort.
• Answer the telephone courteously and relay information provided to the appropriate channels.
• Receiving and tracking of packages and mail for resort operations
• Note and report unusual occurrences.
• Assist with noise complaints, parking issues or other security responsibilities as needed.
• Drive the canyon regularly to escort guests, or delivering provisions to our guests in their designated cabins.
• Monitor the resort noting any deficiencies, or maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Other duties as assigned.
