Job summary

El Capitan Canyon is seeking a Resort Ambassador to join our Guest Services team. You will greet visitors, assist guests, handle packages, answer calls, and help maintain security and service quality in a beautiful outdoor setting just north of Santa Barbara.

This role combines customer service with on-site operations, requiring a high school education, map-reading ability, good communication, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Education
• Ability to read maps
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors directing them to their destinations.
• Obtain names and information from our guests entering the resort.
• Answer the telephone courteously and relay information provided to the appropriate channels.
• Receiving and tracking of packages and mail for resort operations
• Note and report unusual occurrences.
• Assist with noise complaints, parking issues or other security responsibilities as needed.
• Drive the canyon regularly to escort guests, or delivering provisions to our guests in their designated cabins.
• Monitor the resort noting any deficiencies, or maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Other duties as assigned.
