Job summary

The Shores, a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Restorative CNA for a full-time position with competitive hourly pay based on experience. You will support restorative programs to promote resident independence and assist with ADLs while encouraging self-care.

Applicants must hold a current New Jersey CNA certification and have 1+ years in long-term care; strong communication skills are essential. Benefits and a supportive team culture are offered, with a rolling application process.

Responsibilities

• Support restorative programs that promote resident independence and functional abilities.
• Assist with ADLs while encouraging resident participation and self-care.
• Carry out restorative care plans and accurately document progress.
• Provide ambulation, range-of-motion, positioning, and mobility support.
• Assist with meals, transfers, and adaptive equipment use.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or functioning.
• Collaborate with residents and the care team to achieve restorative goals.
