Job summary

The Shores, a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the night shift. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience and shift differentials.

You will provide nursing oversight to support resident wellness, monitor health, document care, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team. Requirements include NJ RN license, CPR, 21+, and 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current and active RN license in New Jersey (required).
• CPR certification (required).
• 3+ years of nursing experience required, preferably in long-term care setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing oversight that supports resident wellness, safety, and quality of life within an assisted living community.
• Monitor residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being, identifying and communicating changes as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support care coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in resident assessments, service planning, and ongoing wellness reviews.
• Build trusted relationships with residents and collaborate with families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource for team members and contribute to a resident-centered community environment.
