Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Resilience and Emergency Management Intern to join our office. This internship provides hands-on experience across resilience, emergency management, disaster recovery, grants, planning, and infrastructure initiatives for public-sector clients.

You will support projects through research, data collection, and document development, while maintaining SharePoint sites and datasets for reporting.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a degree by start of internship.
• Preferred fields include City/Regional Planning, Geography/GIS, Public Policy or Economics/Finance.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Support resilience and emergency management projects through research and data collection.
• Prepare correspondence, meeting summaries and client deliverables.
• Maintain datasets, dashboards, and SharePoint for project reporting.
• Conduct data visualization, GIS support and program guidance reviews.
• Coordinate with grants specialists, engineers and stakeholders across FEMA/HUD programs.
