Ideal candidates have minimal professional experience, with at least 60 credits toward a degree and interest in emergency management, GIS, or related fields.

Qualifikationen

• No professional experience required; internship/volunteer experience is a plus.
• Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a degree by internship start; preferred fields include Emergency Management, Public Policy, GIS, Planning, Engineering, Data Analytics, Communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn SharePoint and project systems; familiarity with data analysis tools.

Aufgaben

• Support resilience, emergency management, disaster recovery, grants, and planning projects through research, data collection, document development, meeting coordination, and follow-up activities.
• Review, organize, track, and maintain grant applications, reimbursement requests, plans, project records, and related documentation.
• Prepare correspondence, meeting summaries, presentations, maps, reports, and briefing materials for internal and client use.
• Maintain project information, datasets, dashboards, SharePoint sites, databases, and spreadsheets to support delivery and reporting.
• Conduct research and analysis including data visualization, mapping, GIS support, and reviews of policies and resilience topics.
• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of documents and datasets.
• Collaborate with grants specialists, planners, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to support execution and client engagement.
