Requires a bachelor’s in social/behavioral sciences, 5+ years with at-risk youth, and 2+ years supervision. A master’s in a human-services field is preferred. Travel and regulatory oversight are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences required.
• Master’s degree in a human services-related field preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience with at-risk youth and families.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience administering a residential or community-based program preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage for results and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the managing officer for West Central Ohio Academy, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for youth and staff.
• Direct and oversee all program components, including education, clinical services, counseling, family services, and daily facility operations.
• Ensure program service delivery maintains safety standards and aligns with Youth Opportunity policies and contractual requirements.
• Lead implementation of the program’s therapeutic model to promote emotional stability and positive youth development.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health, fire, safety, licensing, contractual, and accreditation requirements.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and continuous quality improvement processes.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and supervise facility staff per HR policies.
