Job Description and Requirements:

Conferences and Institutes is seeking Youth Program Leaders for the Summer Academy for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, scheduled for July 11-24, 2024.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising minors 24 hours a day, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.
  2. Managing daily program activities, emergency responses, medication handling, and health information oversight.
  3. Assisting with instructional content development and lesson delivery.
  4. Monitoring participant behavior, mental health, and environment at all times.
  5. Responding promptly and calmly to situations, using sound judgment.

This position requires the following clearances:

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI Criminal Background Check
