Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active ASL interpreter license required — state of Nebraska preferred (from NCDHH), but not required (we offer reimbursement for cross-licensing!)
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 on both the Written and Performance assessments
• Availability for the full 2025-2026 school year
• At least 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
• 1+ year of experience providing online services preferred
• Strong understanding of instructional methodologies for educating deaf and hard-of-hearing students
• Willingness to participate in IEP and IFSP development as needed
• Ability to assist with setting up necessary equipment and materials for accessible education
• Comfortable with amplification devices and assistive tech tools
• Ability to maintain strong, professional relationships with students, families, and school teams
• A quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet for remote work
• A genuine passion for working with children
