Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck to collect waste on assigned route.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle and operate rear- or side-load mechanisms.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and mechanics promptly.
• Maintain route quality and follow safety rules and company policies.
• May supervise helpers and assist with routing efficiency.
