Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver in Kentucky to safely remove waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes.

You will operate a residential/recycling collection vehicle, load and compact materials, and complete safety inspections and reports daily. The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and demonstrates strong safety, reliability, and customer service on route.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Valid CDL is required.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection vehicle on assigned route.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle and compact as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues immediately.
• Adhere to safety policies and road regulations.
