Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Clarksville, TN seeks a Residential Driver to safely and courteously provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate residential/recycling trucks, load and compact waste, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards
• Ability to safely drive truck and operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks to collect waste and/or recyclables on assigned routes.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle; compact and secure loads as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; keep logs and route documentation updated.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor/mechanic; maintain route quality and safety standards.
