Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Excellent reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy.
• Safely operate truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on route sheet or by dispatcher.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure routes are serviced professionally.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required.
• Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable waste and clean spills following safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean waste from packer blade and truck body on trips.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and provide timely service to customers.
• Follow company safety policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
