Job summary

Meridian Waste is seeking a Roll Off Driver in Greensboro, NC to safely operate a collection truck and provide timely, courteous waste removal services. The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes and prior experience driving heavy trucks.

You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent reading and writing skills, strong customer service, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Must have Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
Excellent reading and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
Safely operate heavy truck along designated route to the disposal site and service customers.
Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the facility.
Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure routes are serviced professionally.
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers.
Monitor waste for unacceptable waste and clean spills per safety standards.
