GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Rear Load Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on assigned routes in Texas. The role requires a CDL (or CDL training) and a clean driving record, with responsibilities including loading containers, operating rear/side-load trucks, and adhering to safety procedures.

The position involves daily route work, vehicle inspections, and communication with dispatch. Candidates should be able to lift and move bags and operate in outdoor conditions; overtime

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must pass safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Mansioni

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck and equipment on assigned route.
• Load solid waste/recyclables into vehicle and ensure proper compaction.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete route documentation.
• Maintain route quality and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and mechanics promptly.
• Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and proper PPE usage.
