Job summary

GFL is hiring a Residential Driver in Indiana to safely collect waste and recyclables along assigned routes. The driver will operate curbside and backdoor collections, load materials, and ensure accurate records and vehicle maintenance.

The role requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and at least one year of driving experience or CDL training, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service on busy routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria for the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection routes using appropriate vehicle and equipment.
• Load waste/recyclables and operate vehicle to compact material.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality and follow safety standards at all times.
