Job summary

Vertical Builders in the Richmond Metro Area, Virginia, seeks an experienced Warranty Manager to oversee the residential warranty process from homeowner orientation through completion of warranty claims. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, communicate with homeowners, and ensure warranty items are addressed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential construction warranty management.
• Strong knowledge of NAHB construction standards and tolerances.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple warranty claims, schedules, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct homeowner orientation walkthroughs, explain home systems and expectations.
• Manage warranty claims from initial request through completion, including scheduling and documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely warranty item resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of calls, emails, inspections, schedules, and resolutions.
• Provide timely and professional communication with homeowners.
• Inspect completed warranty work and verify proper resolution, preferably on first service visit.
