Job summary

Guidance Center in Arizona is seeking a supervisor for its 24-hour residential substance use unit. Lead Behavioral Health Specialists, Clinicians, and Care Managers, implementing evidence-based programming and coordinating shift coverage.

Use ASAM criteria and maintain high quality documentation and regulatory compliance. You will provide individual, group, and family therapies to adults, support data collection and outcome studies, and engage with community partners to ensure comprehensive

Qualifications

• a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field and at least four years' experience in substance use treatment OR a Master's degree and relevant licensure.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in crisis intervention and counseling across a broad client range.
• Ability to coordinate client care as part of a team.
• Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for Behavioral Health Specialists, Clinicians, and Care Managers on a 24-hour residential unit.
• Develop and implement program activities using evidence-based practices.
• Complete reporting, census reviews, referrals, and outcome data as directed.
• Supervise unit staff, maintain timesheets and supervision logs.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance with funders and agencies.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse adult caseload.
• Support quality improvement and performance improvement processes.
• Facilitate staff meetings and participate in orientation and training.
