Job summary

CoreCivic seeks a Treatment Manager in Arizona to lead substance use treatment programs within a correctional setting. You will supervise staff, develop and monitor treatment initiatives, and coordinate clinical supervision and admissions processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, AZ LISAC licensure, and 3 years of substance use counseling with supervisory experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or closely related field required.
• AZ LISAC licensure/certification required.
• Authorized or endorsed to provide clinical supervision where required by regulation.
• Three (3) years of substance use counseling experience, incl. one year supervisory experience.
• One year of experience in a therapeutic community setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and monitors treatment programs; oversees activities and effectiveness.
• Plans, develops, and conducts seminars, workshops, and training for inmates and staff.
• Supervises staff; handles hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Provides clinical supervision; coordinates admissions, treatment, evaluation, and release information.
• Observes inmates during activities; provides consultation and assists in grievance resolution.
