Road To Responsibility, Inc. is hiring a Residential Support Specialist in Massachusetts. You will provide hands-on support, skill-building, and daily care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, collaborating with the Residential Manager and team.

Responsibilities include personal care, community participation, documentation, and medication administration. The role offers a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and paid training to support ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or direct experience in human services.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Completion and maintenance of required trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
• Assist individuals with personal care needs such as hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Complete daily documentation and shift reports.
• Administer medications following established procedures.
• Implement behavioral support plans and trained safety interventions when needed.
• Support individuals with medical appointments and related documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing development.
• Provide coaching and support to new staff as directed.
