Road To Responsibility Inc. seeks a Residential Support Specialist to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You will partner with the Residential Manager to deliver daily care, skill-building, and meaningful activities, while maintaining safety and independence. The role requires empathy, reliability, and a teamwork mindset; a Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in human services is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or non-degreed persons with a minimum of one year direct experience in human services.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must complete and maintain all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to undergo Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information from DPPC, DDS, and other agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
• Assist individuals with personal care needs such as hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment; complete daily documentation and shift reports.
• Administer medications following established procedures; implement behavioral support plans and safety interventions as needed.
