Job summary

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Residence Program Specialist to support individuals in a residential facility, fostering dignity and independence. You will provide direct support, skill-building, and advocacy to help residents achieve personal goals and a high quality of life.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, assisting with ADLs, documenting progress, and coordinating with treatment plans under nursing supervision. A NY driver’s license and AMAP eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• AMAP certification required or to be obtained within six months of hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to respond to crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support and skill-building to residents to promote independence and dignity.
• Maintains safety, health, and well-being of residents at all times.
• Teaches activities of daily living and community living skills to residents.
