Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota (LSS) Summit Oaks is seeking a passionate Residential Supervisor to join our mission-driven team. This full-time, evening shift role involves supervising residential staff, ensuring safety, coordinating transport, and maintaining health and safety standards while supporting teens and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or two years postsecondary (60 credits) and one year experience with children.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Willingness to submit to background checks for criminal convictions of harm towards children, spousal abuse, drugs or sex crimes.
• Requires a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one with approved status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, evaluation, and support to residential staff.
• Ensure physical intervention for residents and staff protection if necessary.
• Transport residents as needed and maintain health and safety standards.
• Attend in-service trainings, staff meetings, and supervisor meetings.
• Cover on-call duties as assigned.
