The role oversees a therapeutic environment for youth ages 10-17 in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment program, and includes supervising residential staff and leading team meetings.

Evening shifts are typical (1:00pm-11:00pm) with weekend and holiday coverage. A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science is preferred, along with background

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field preferred; or post-secondary education and a minimum of one year experience working with children; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must complete agency background checks including criminal, harm to children, spouse abuse, and drug/sex crimes.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training.
• Requires active auto-insurance, a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Direct and maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for youth ages 10-17 in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment program.
• Provide direct supervision and training to designated residential staff.
• Attend and participate in designated team meetings, in-service training, and crisis intervention.
• Perform the duties associated with the Residential Shift Coordinator job description.
