Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota (LSS Summit Oaks) is looking for a Residential Supervisor in Sioux Falls, SD, to lead residential staff and ensure high-quality client care for teens and families. This full-time role offers morning, evening, or overnight shifts and a compensation structure based on hourly pay.

The position emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and safety, with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in state-supported programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral or social science field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
• Requires a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, evaluation, and support to residential staff.
• Ensure physical intervention for residents and staff protection if necessary.
• Transport residents as needed and maintain health and safety standards.
• Attend in-service trainings, staff meetings, and supervisor meetings.
• Cover on-call duties as assigned.
