Job summary

A community support organization in New York is looking for a Shift Supervisor to oversee and instruct security staff. Responsibilities include monitoring safety, managing entry logs, and providing crisis intervention when needed. The ideal candidate will have a NYS Security License, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients. CPR and First Aid certifications are required for this role as well as a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• NYS Security License and F-80 Certificate of Fitness required.
• General knowledge of working in a residential facility preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPPA guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients and grounds to ensure safety.
• Examine items entering the facility for safety.
• Manage entry logs and inspect service chores.
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention.
