Job summary

State of Minnesota’s Direct Care and Treatment division seeks a Designated Manager to supervise a MSOCS residential home in Brainerd, guiding staff, managing resources, and ensuring quality care for individuals with disabilities and complex needs. This role requires leadership, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with partners to meet community goals.

The position emphasizes rotating shifts and on-site supervision, with travel for meetings and on-site coverage as needed in the Brainerd

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience through supervision, team leadership, or program leadership.
• Two years of experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment providing counseling and rehabilitative care.
• Meets MN Statute 245D.081 qualifications for Designated Coordinator, including valid driver's license and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to meet program objectives and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage fiscal resources prudently for MSOCS homes.
• Develop and evaluate residential services to integrate individuals into the community.
