Job summary

Winter Family Care LLC in Minnesota seeks a Residential Services Coordinator to lead and support residential teams and oversee daily program operations, ensuring person-centered services aligned with individual plans and licensing.

You will supervise Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals, manage scheduling, coordinate with guardians and case managers, and drive quality improvement while maintaining compliant documentation and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human services, education, health, or a related field, with at least one year of qualifying full-time experience.
• Associate Degree in human services, education, health, or a related field, with at least two years of qualifying full-time experience.
• Postsecondary Diploma in human services, education, health, or a related field, with at least three years of qualifying full-time experience.
• Equivalent Training & Experience: At least 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of qualifying full-time direct care experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support Team Leaders and DSPs while promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned residential settings, ensuring appropriate staffing, safe environments, and consistent service delivery.
• Coordinate schedules, address staffing needs, and assist with resolving coverage concerns.
• Ensure individualized support plans, positive support strategies, and service expectations are consistently implemented.
• Maintain effective relationships with employees, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, and other members of individuals' support teams.
• Monitor required documentation, incident reporting, medication administration practices, and compliance with Minnesota 245D requirements.
• Provide guidance and assistance during emergencies, behavioral situations, and other operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, employee performance, and overall residential operations.
