Job summary

Clare’s Place is seeking a part-time housing support specialist to work in a 24/7 supportive housing environment in Snohomish County. The role involves engaging residents, coordinating external services, and promoting safety and community engagement.

You will handle on-site operations, assist with appointments, and participate in outreach and activities such as garden and social programs. Availability for evenings and some weekends is required, with differential pay for overnight and weekend

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals displaying challenging behaviors.
• Must be available to work some evenings and weekends.
• Able to communicate with staff, residents, and partners.
• Ability to learn crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with residents in Clare’s Place common areas.
• Coordinate and facilitate outside services with residents.
• Provide outreach to service-resistant residents to build trust.
• Organize on-site recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure lobby operations run efficiently (visitors, phones, security).
• Act as first responder to community concerns and coordinate with supervisors.
• Maintain safety and enforce building rules.
• Respond to emergencies and liaise with emergency services.
• Document events in daily logs and hand off information between shifts.
• Address resident complaints and coordinate with partners as needed.
• Assess resident requests for maintenance, lease issues, or payments.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
