Job summary

Catholic Community Services is seeking a part-time Housing Support Specialist for Clare’s Place in Snohomish County. The role involves engaging residents, coordinating services, and ensuring safety in a busy housing facility.

Must be able to work some evenings and weekends, with exposure to potentially challenging situations. You'll participate in weekly staff meetings, support daily log accuracy, and assist residents with maintenance and service needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals displaying challenging behaviors.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Effective communication with staff, residents and partners.
• Must pass required background clearances.
• WA Driver’s License/WA State ID and Food Handlers Permit are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and model professional behaviors in Clare’s Place.
• Coordinate and facilitate access to outside services and appointments.
• Engage residents using outreach strategies to build trust.
• Organize on-site activities and coordinate with staff for safe, welcoming environment.
• Record events and pass information during shift changes to ensure seamless coverage.
• Respond to complaints and coordinate with building management and partners as needed.
• Assist with resident requests for maintenance, rent issues, or services.
