Job summary

1-800 Hansons in Troy, MI is seeking a hands-on installer to join our team. You’ll measure, install, repair, and maintain household windows and components while traveling through Metro Detroit.

We provide training, a Monday–Friday schedule with a company vehicle, and benefits after 30 days; no prior window experience required beyond a tape measure and basic tools.

If you're hands-on, comfortable using a tape measure and basic tools, and have experience installing, repairing, maintaining, or fixing things - we want to meet you.

Window experience is a plus - not a requirement.

What You'll Do

Travel throughout Metro Detroit helping homeowners with:

• Measuring windows, baths and other home improvement projects
• Residential service and warranty appointments
• Minor repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting
• Windows, screens, locks, hardware, weatherstripping and caulking
• Recording measurements, photos and notes on a company-issued iPad

What We're Looking For

• Confident using a tape measure accurately
• Hands-on installation, maintenance, service, construction or repair experience
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn - we provide the training
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
