Job summary

HANSONS is hiring a full-time, hands-on installer/service technician to support Metro Detroit homeowners. You’ll measure windows and baths, assist with home improvement projects, and handle residential service and warranty appointments.

Ideal candidates have experience measuring, installing, maintaining or repairing equipment, and are comfortable using basic hand and power tools. A valid driver’s license is required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Confident using a tape measure.
• Hands-on installation, maintenance, service or repair experience.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout Metro Detroit helping homeowners with measurements.
• Residential service and warranty appointments.
• Minor repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Windows, screens, locks, hardware, weatherstripping and caulking.
• Recording measurements, photos and notes on a company-issued iPad.

Up to $25/Hour | Company Vehicle | Monday–Friday | Training Provided

You don't need window experience to join HANSONS.

If you're hands-on, comfortable using a tape measure and basic tools, and have experience installing, repairing, maintaining, or fixing things — we want to meet you.

What You'll Do

Travel throughout Metro Detroit helping homeowners with:

• Residential service and warranty appointments
• Minor repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting
• Windows, screens, locks, hardware, weatherstripping and caulking
• Recording measurements, photos and notes on a company-issued iPad

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on installation, maintenance, service, construction or repair experience
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn — we provide the training
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
