Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential and commercial systems.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Proficiency reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and sewage systems.
Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
Experience with various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and supervisors.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
Safety-Oriented: Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to safe work environment.
Customer Service: Track record of professional customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment.
Determining whether repairs or replacements are needed for customers.
Installing and assembling plumbing systems and equipment, including valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, pipes, fittings, and components.
Testing for leaks using compressed air and/or water to ensure functionality and safety.
Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
Managing the inventory of plumbing supplies in the vehicle, including stock checks and orders.
Keeping equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions.
Maintaining safety equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Additional duties as assigned.
