Limitless Electric is expanding its residential service operation in Connecticut and seeks a motivated Residential Service Electrician focused on estimating, sales, and customer relationships. You’ll own the opportunity from first contact to close, with installation teams handling the build.
You’ll run ~3–4 service calls per day, diagnose problems, prepare accurate scopes and estimates, and present options to homeowners.
Are You the Electrician Who Thinks Like an Owner?
You know the electrical trade—but you also understand people, numbers, and what it takes to run profitable work.
You can walk into a homeowner’s house, make them feel comfortable, diagnose a problem, explain the options clearly, and recognize when a small service call could lead to a larger project.
You understand labor.
You understand materials.
You understand that a job can look great on paper and still lose money if it isn’t scoped, priced, and executed correctly.
And you want more responsibility than simply being handed a work order and told where to go next.
Limitless Electric is hiring a Residential Service Electrician focused on estimating, sales, and customer relationships.
Think of this position as running your service van almost like your own business—without having to take on all the risk and responsibility of owning the company.
We provide the brand, leads, systems, pricing tools, support, and installation crews.
Your job is to take ownership of the opportunity.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position for an experienced residential electrician who enjoys:
Troubleshooting. People. Estimating. Numbers. Sales. Problem-solving. Results.
You’ll typically run approximately 3–4 residential service appointments and consultations per day.
Some appointments will involve troubleshooting and smaller repairs that you can complete yourself.
Others will uncover larger projects such as:
For larger opportunities, your responsibility is simple:
Evaluate it. Scope it. Price it. Present it. Sell it. Document it. Hand it off.
You won't be expected to spend several days completing larger installations.
Once the project is properly sold and scoped, our installation team takes over.
That allows you to keep your schedule moving, continue meeting homeowners, solve problems, develop new opportunities, and create a steady pipeline of properly scoped work for the company.
You’ll be responsible for:
This position is built for a high performer who wants ownership over the result.
You’ll probably love this role if you:
“I could run this better.”
You should be equally comfortable troubleshooting an electrical problem, talking with a homeowner at their kitchen table, and reviewing labor, material costs, pricing, and gross margin.
If you want to clock in, receive a list of jobs, complete exactly what's assigned, and go home without thinking much about what happens before or after the installation, this probably isn't the position for you.
There is nothing wrong with that type of electrician.
It simply isn't what we're hiring for in this role.
Someone who cares about the entire result—not just whether the wires were installed correctly.
Traditional sales experience is not required.
We would rather hire a great electrician who understands people and can learn our sales process than hire a salesperson who doesn't understand electrical work.
We're not looking for someone to pressure homeowners into buying things they don't need.
Our residential work includes:
Experience in residential service, electrical estimating, project management, sales, or operating your own electrical business is especially valuable.
Success in this role isn't measured by revenue alone.
A successful Residential Service Electrician at Limitless:
We want profitable work, happy customers, clean installations, and customers who call Limitless again the next time they need an electrician.
We're not trying to build another electrical company where talented electricians are simply dispatched from job to job.
We're building a company where great people can take ownership, develop professionally, and directly influence the success of the business.
We're growing our residential service operation, building additional installation crews, improving our systems, and creating opportunities for people who want to grow with the company.
In this position, you won't have to build the entire machine yourself.
You don't have to create the brand.
You don't have to generate every lead.
You don't have to build the website.
You don't have to answer every phone call.
You don't have to manage advertising, payroll, scheduling, or all the other responsibilities that come with owning an electrical company.
We build the infrastructure around you so you can focus on what you're great at: taking care of homeowners, solving electrical problems, developing opportunities, and producing results.
You'll have the opportunity to use more than your hands.
You'll use your:
Electrical knowledge.
Personality.
Judgment.
Business sense.
Communication skills.
Drive.
And as Limitless grows, we want our best people to grow with it.
Our mission is to become the most trusted residential electrical company in Connecticut by building lifelong relationships through exceptional craftsmanship, honest communication, and an unwavering commitment to doing every job right.
We want every homeowner to feel confident, respected, and cared for—from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
This position plays a major part in delivering that experience.
You're often the person sitting across from the homeowner, understanding their problem, earning their trust, developing the solution, and setting the project up for success.
We expect a lot from this position, and the right person should have the opportunity to benefit from the results they produce.
We’re especially interested in talking to electricians who have thought:
“I’d like to run my own business someday.”
You may find that this position gives you many of the things you want from ownership—responsibility, autonomy, performance, numbers, customers, and growth—without having to build everything alone.
