Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is seeking an experienced Residential Service Electrician to diagnose electrical concerns and deliver high-quality residential work across the Charlotte Metro area.

You'll manage the customer experience from arrival to completion, applying strong electrical knowledge and clear communication to explain options, perform repairs, upgrades, and installs, and document all steps for the job file.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional electrical experience.
• Strong residential troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

What You’ll Do

As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll work directly with homeowners throughout the Charlotte Metro area to diagnose electrical concerns, provide solutions, and complete high-quality residential electrical work.

You’ll be trusted to manage the customer experience from the moment you arrive through the completion of the visit. That means bringing both strong electrical knowledge and strong communication skills to every home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting residential electrical issues
• Performing electrical repairs, replacements, upgrades, and installations
• Completing work ranging from fixtures and devices to circuits, panels, wiring, and larger residential electrical projects
• Performing thorough evaluations of residential electrical systems and identifying potential safety concerns
• Clearly explaining your findings and helping customers understand their options
• Providing solutions based on the customer's needs, priorities, and home
• Completing accurate job notes, photos, estimates, and required documentation
• Communicating with our office and installation teams when additional work or follow-up is needed
• Maintaining your company vehicle, tools, equipment, and assigned technology
• Following established processes that create consistency, accountability, and an exceptional customer experience

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional electrical experience
• Strong residential troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of residential electrical work

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members

Compensation & Benefits

Earning potential starts around $20 per hour and can grow to $40+ per hour based on experience, individual performance, and results.

This is a performance-based compensation position designed to reward Service Professionals who consistently deliver quality work, create an exceptional customer experience, identify and solve customer needs, and produce strong results.
