Job summary

ADT is seeking a results-driven Sales Advisor who will visit customers’ homes to demonstrate smart home security solutions and tailor systems to fit each client’s space and lifestyle. You’ll travel within a designated territory, build trust, and secure referrals through strong relationships.

The role rewards performance with uncapped commissions; entry training is provided, with earnings potential reaching six figures for top performers. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust: be a reliable advisor during sale and after installation.
• Customize each system to fit client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns, combining security, automation, and life safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating new sales leads.
