Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a results-driven Sales Advisor to demonstrate the value of security and smart home solutions to customers in homes and small businesses across the territory. You will visit customers, tailor systems to fit their space, and build lasting relationships through trusted guidance.

We offer uncapped commissions with earnings potential, plus structured training and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with customers, becoming a reliable advisor during the sale and after installation.
• Customize each system to fit the client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns with security, automation, and life-safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating sales leads to maximize outreach.
