Job summary

Aramark Nexus is seeking a skilled Security Manager to lead security operations for a large-scale, 24/7 residential community near Hereford, Texas. You will oversee access control, investigations, emergency procedures, and vendor performance while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role requires strong leadership, security operations experience, and the ability to work with external partners and local emergency services.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in security operations, law enforcement, physical security, corporate security, hospitality security, loss prevention, public safety, or a related field.
• Experience as a security leader (Security Manager / Security Operations Manager / Safety and Security Manager / Loss Prevention Manager / Corporate Security Manager) is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing third-party contract security providers and personnel.
• Familiarity with access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and other security tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall security program for a large-scale, 24/7 residential workforce community, ensuring safety for residents, employees, visitors, and property.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the third-party security provider to meet staffing, training, and service expectations.
• Establish procedures for access control, visitor management, patrols, incident response, and resident safety.
• Monitor staffing and deployment to ensure coverage across housing, dining, recreation, parking, and common areas.
• Collaborate with site leaders to identify risks and implement preventive measures.
• Lead investigations involving security incidents, policy violations, theft, or disturbances.
• Develop emergency security procedures and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services.
• Monitor reports and data to identify trends and strengthen the security program.
• Conduct security assessments and site walks to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure vendors and personnel understand site expectations and escalation procedures.
• Support security technology and systems including access control, surveillance, and alarms.
