Job summary

Dexterra Group seeks an experienced Security Manager to build and lead the security program for a 24/7 workforce housing hub in Austin, TX, serving 4,000+ residents, employees and visitors. You’ll align contract teams, establish post orders, and drive incident response and investigations.

You will implement access control, visitor management, CCTV systems, and emergency protocols while partnering with HR, Legal, and IT to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible physical-security experience.
• Experience leading a large site, campus or similar operation.
• Experience with 24/7 operations and third-party providers.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and incident management.
• Ability to develop post orders, SOPs and staffing plans.
• Strong decision-making and investigative skills.
• On-site work availability and valid driver’s license.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the 24/7 security program across gates, resident areas and facilities.
• Manage contract security vendors to meet KPIs and contracts.
• Own site security plan, post orders and emergency protocols; update as needed.
• Oversee access, badging, traffic control and visitor management.
• Lead incident response, investigations and reporting with HR and Legal.
• Oversee CCTV, intrusion systems and incident-management tools.
• Coach supervisors; foster a professional, service-oriented security culture.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigations with budget priorities.
• Build relationships with operations, client reps, and authorities.
