Job summary

Waste-Pro Dispatcher in Kenner, LA, is responsible for communicating with drivers to respond to service orders, schedule service, resolve route and service issues, and complete daily routing data entry. The role requires coordinating with Driver teams, Customer Service, and Supervisors to assign routes, close tickets, update Tower and Trackese records, and ensure timely, accurate information flow.

A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; prior dispatch or logistics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of related work experience preferred in waste, transportation, or logistics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in customer service/call center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base and dispatch drivers to calls.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot delivery problems and communicate changes to customers and Sales staff.
• Answer incoming calls and provide route information; coordinate with Customer Service and Supervisors.
• Maintain data in Tower and Trackese; enter new drivers, trucks and routes.
• Print and review productivity reports for route supervisors.
• Manage driver phones/radios and ensure software updates.
• Attend required training and stay current with company systems.
