Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services in Brockton, MA is seeking a Residential Rehab Educator for a 24 hrs/wk schedule to support adults with behavioral health needs. The role focuses on helping clients develop independence, achieve daily living goals, and participate in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; coursework towards an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in health and human services field or related education/training
• CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required
• Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities
• Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle may be required
• MAP, CPR and First Aid certifications will be required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation, and administration of medication
• Implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms
• Help clients develop independence and enhance quality of life
