Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services in Weymouth, MA is seeking Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors to support adults with behavioral health challenges. Education: HS diploma or equivalent; coursework towards associates or bachelor's preferred. Prior health and human services experience is valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences toward a degree preferred.
• Previous experience in health and human services field.
• Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle required at some sites.
• CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with goal setting, daily living activities, socialization, and transportation.
• Administer medication and implement treatment plans to reach goals and manage symptoms.
• Help clients develop independence and improve quality of life.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
