Job summary

Care New England seeks a Residential Support Specialist for the Roads to Recovery program at The Providence Center. The role provides person-centered services in a residential setting for individuals with behavioral health needs, coordinating care and connecting clients to community resources to sustain recovery.

You will facilitate groups, support clients in skill-building for independence, and ensure timely medication supervision and secure documentation of all client encounters.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; advanced education preferred.
• Experience working with the substance use population is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection and insured automobile.
• Ability to travel within the community with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support within a residential setting.
• Coordinate care and connect clients to appropriate resources.
• Facilitate groups and provide supportive counseling.
• Initiate treatment and advocate for clients within their network of care.
• Collaborate with care team on individualized care plans.
• Teach clients daily living skills and medication self-administration supervision.
• Maintain accurate records in EPIC and document client encounters.
