Klamath Basin Behavioral Health seeks a Certified Peer Support Specialist to empower individuals in recovery within an interdisciplinary team. You will build relationships, provide empathic support, and help clients access resources that support long-term wellness.

The role emphasizes peer-led groups, goal setting, and documentation in line with NCC AP NCPRSS codes of ethics. Located in Southern Oregon, full-time with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Health Authority Certified Peer Support Specialist certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old and not on Medicaid exclusion list.
• Ability to work with individuals in recovery and participate in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with peers across homes, clinics, and community settings.
• Provide emotional support during clinic visits and empower peers.
• Facilitate or co-lead peer support groups for growth and recovery.
• Help peers set recovery goals and navigate transportation, healthcare, and benefits.
• Ensure peers stay connected to community resources with follow-up support.
• Maintain timely documentation meeting state and agency requirements.
