Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely perform waste collection on curbside and backdoor routes in McKinney, TX. You will operate rear-load and/or side-load trucks, collect solid waste or recyclables, and help maintain daily route quality.

The role requires a CDL, a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong safety awareness. Outdoor work and occasional overtime may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Load waste or recyclables into vehicle and ensure proper compaction.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete reports.
• Maintain route quality and communicate any mechanical issues promptly.
• Identify prohibited items and assist with route coordination.
