Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes in McKinney, Texas. You will load waste, compact trash, and maintain documentation while ensuring safety and quality on every run.

The role requires safe driving practices, adherence to route instructions, and collaboration with supervisors to maintain service levels. Overtime may be required; a CDL and driving experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Must demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Compact trash and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks.
• Report mechanical issues and maintain route records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company rules.
