About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Residential Property Valuer to join their team in Welkom . You will be responsible for conducting accurate and reliable property valuations for a diverse range of residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of property markets, construction, and valuation methodologies, ensuring that clients receive fair and objective assessments. As a key member of the valuation team in the Free State, you will contribute to informed decision-making for buyers, sellers, financial institutions, and legal professionals, upholding the highest standards of professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of residential properties.
• Research market data, comparable sales, and property characteristics to determine property values.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate property valuation reports .
• Advise clients on property values, market conditions, and investment potential.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to provide valuation services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Valuer or Appraiser, with a strong portfolio of residential valuations.
• Professional qualification in property valuation or a related field (e.g., SACAP, SAPOA).
• In-depth knowledge of the Welkom and surrounding Free State property market.
• Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.
